It's very cold today in NYC so we thought a big red blend from Columbia Valley WA fits perfectly in this weather. 16% Merlot, 15% Malbec, 48% Cabernet, 9% Petit Verdot and 12% Cabernet Franc. This wine offers big fruit flavors and has very well balanced tannins. On the nose you find tabacco, leather and red fruits. This wine pairs very well with burgers or grilled pork loin. www.grandcruny.com
Tonight we opened this very nice wine from Agrelo, Mendoza Argentina. Intense flavors of blackberry, licorice and bitter chocolate. It finishes with fine tannins and dark berry and spice.

We just tasted an amazing wine from Ribera del Duero Spain. We used the Coravin system to extract the wine without opening the bottle. Its 100% tempranillo 2006 Reserva, it being aged for 38 months in american and french oak. Clean and intense on the nose, floral and mineral balsamic notes on the palate and coffee, vanilla and ripe fruits. Very round wine and soft tannin. BUY HERE
This beautiful liqueur from the heart of Italy is made from organically grown Amalfi lemons. Rich sweetness with a powerful nose if zesty lemons and the essence of spice.
